Head, Renewable Energy, European Investment Bank

Alessandro Boschi is Head of the Renewable Energy Division of the EIB in Luxembourg, where he is responsible for a team of experts in charge of the technical, economic, environmental and financial appraisal of renewable energy and innovative low carbon  technology projects submitted for EIB financing. The team also provides technical assistance, project monitoring, define policy and liaise with key sector counterparts. Previously he worked for an international utility for 15 years, including as head of Business Development  in Bulgaria. He graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from the La Sapienza University of Rome and has an MBA from ALMA-Profingest Business School.
